Brent Wells is an Australian naturalist, expedition photographer, and safety and logistics technician with a lifelong passion for the wild. Based on the Northern NSW coast at Flat Rock, Brent has dedicated his life to exploring, documenting, and protecting Australia’s unique ecosystems both above and below the surface.

As a photographer and videographer, Brent specialises in capturing authentic wildlife behaviour in its natural environment — from coastal marine life and remote island species to the often-misunderstood predators and venomous animals that play critical roles in healthy ecosystems. With a deep respect for all animals, Brent has a particular fascination with the predatory and poisonous, driven by a desire to educate others and shift perceptions from fear to understanding.

Beyond the lens, Brent brings experience in expedition safety, remote logistics, and field operations. He has coordinated and led expeditions, education programs, and conservation-focused experiences, ensuring both safety and meaningful connection to nature. His calm, knowledgeable presence allows others to confidently explore environments they may never have otherwise experienced.

Through his work with Live 4 Adventure and Capture the Wild, Brent combines storytelling, education, and adventure to inspire others to reconnect with the natural world, respect its balance, and protect it for future generations.
